fox capture plan
Ryo KISHIMOTO (Piano, key)/Tsukasa INOUE (Drums)/Hidehiro KAWAI (Bass)
Formed in 2011, fox capture plan is a Japanese instrumental piano trio known for its cinematic sound that blends jazz, rock, and electronic music into a bold, genre-defying style.
Driven by three musicians with distinct creative identities, the band has earned widespread acclaim for its dynamic performances and boundary-pushing musicality, appearing at major festivals and venues both in Japan and internationally.
Since their debut, fox capture plan has released eleven full-length albums. In addition to their live activities, the band is widely recognized for composing and producing music for television dramas, films, anime, commercials, and video games, while also providing songwriting and arrangements for other artists.
In 2023, fox capture plan composed the Grand Opening music for the 74th NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen, Japan’s most iconic and nationally celebrated annual music broadcast.
In 2024, the band launched their own label, CapturisM., and released their 11th album, DEEPER.
Beginning in February 2025, fox capture plan embarked on “TOUR 2025 ‘DEEPER,’” performing 12 shows across Japan. In June, they held a special two-day residency at BLUE NOTE PLACE in Ebisu titled “LIVE 360° -THE CIRCLE-,” marking the band’s first-ever immersive 360-degree performance.
Their momentum continued with a series of sold-out performances at Billboard Live Tokyo and Osaka in September, followed by another sold-out show at Billboard Live Taipei in November. On December 17, the band released their collaborative album RESONANCE.
The momentum has only intensified in 2026. In March, fox capture plan hosted their self-produced event “PLANNING 2026,” a sold-out two-man live featuring THE CHARMOfficial Web Site:https://www.foxcaptureplan.com/
